ValetStore
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 September 2026
ValetStore Pte Ltd (UEN 202630574K), of 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051 (“ValetStore,” “we,” “us”), is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, why, and how it’s handled.
1. What We Collect, and When
When you view a cost estimate: To view a calculated cost estimate from our rate calculator, you’ll need to provide your name, email address, and phone number. This is automatically emailed to our sales team at cs@valetstore.sg and recorded in our CRM’s sales pipeline. Our sales team may also follow up with you by WhatsApp regarding your enquiry.
When you submit a quote request: If you submit a formal quote request, we additionally collect your collection address. As with the cost estimate step, this is automatically emailed to cs@valetstore.sg and recorded in our CRM’s sales pipeline.
When you confirm and pay for a quotation: Our sales team will contact you by WhatsApp to confirm your preferred pickup date, time, and any access details needed for the collection location. Once you confirm your quotation and make payment (by bank transfer or PayNow), you’ll share proof of payment with our sales team, who upload it to the CRM for internal verification. Once payment is verified, we send your storage agreement to you by email as a DocuSign document for e-signature; the signed copy is then retained in your client profile within the CRM.
When you renew your storage plan: You can log into the CRM and pay by card via Stripe. ValetStore’s CRM does not store or record your card details at any point — this is handled directly and securely by Stripe.
We do not collect more personal data than we need at each stage, and we do not require you to create an account to browse the website or explore pricing using the calculator’s item and quantity fields. A name, email address, and phone number are required only at the point you choose to view a calculated cost estimate.
2. Why We Collect It
We use your personal data to:
- Generate quotations and respond to enquiries;
- Deliver, manage, and bill for the storage and related services you order;
- Maintain accurate records of the items in our custody, for your protection and ours;
- Contact you about your order, account, or upcoming billing cycles;
- With your consent, send you information about ValetStore’s services that may be relevant to you; and
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting our Data Protection Officer below — this will not affect service-related communications about an active order.
3. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to deliver our service:
- Our team, including staff based outside Singapore. ValetStore’s marketing and operations functions are supported by team members based in the Philippines and India, who may access customer and prospect data through our CRM system as part of their role. Where personal data is accessed from outside Singapore, we take steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA, including contractual data protection obligations with our overseas team members.
- Our subcontractors, specifically our warehousing provider and outsourced transport providers, who need certain details (such as your delivery address) to perform pickup, delivery, and storage on our behalf.
- Payment and banking providers, specifically Stripe for card payments on renewals (Stripe processes your card details directly; ValetStore’s CRM never stores or has access to them) and our bank for bank transfer and PayNow payments.
- DocuSign, to send you your storage agreement for electronic signature and to retain the signed record.
- WhatsApp, where our sales team uses it to follow up on enquiries and confirm pickup arrangements with you directly.
- Professional advisers or authorities, where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. How Long We Keep It
We retain personal data only for as long as it’s needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law (for example, accounting and tax record-keeping obligations under Singapore law). Once neither applies, we securely delete or anonymise the data.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies only where they are strictly necessary. The only cookies we set are the authentication cookies — their names begin with sb- — written when you sign in to the CRM or the client portal, and read on each request to keep you signed in. If you only browse this website or use the rate calculator, no cookie is set.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies on this website.
The rate calculator keeps your selections in your browser’s session storage rather than in a cookie, so that what you priced carries over to the order form and you do not have to enter it twice. It stays on your device, is cleared when you close the tab, and is never sent to a third party.
You can block or clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies described above will prevent you from signing in to the client portal. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
6. Your Rights
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- Withdraw consent for us to use your personal data for a particular purpose (such as marketing), though this may affect our ability to provide certain services to you.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer using the details below. We aim to respond to access and correction requests within 30 days.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use, or disclosure, including access controls on our CRM system and photographed chain-of-custody records for physical items in our care.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
